GRANDPARENTS DAY
Grandparents hold a special place in everyone’s heart. Many of us still look for their advice when in trouble. Their bed time stories are an integral part of their child’s growing years.
Our school celebrated grandparent’s day on 03 Nov 18 in the honour of grandparents. The special day was filled with dance, song and nukkad natak performances by the kids. Students of class I expressed their feelings for their grandparents by reciting ‘Doha’s. Through nukkad natak little ones told – how grandparents teach value education among children. Dance performances and Qawwali by students entertained their grandparents.
Mrs Kavitha Menon, Principal of our school addressed the grandparents and shared that the shrinking size of families, grandparents are often missed by the children. It is important to sensitize kids about the role of grandparents in one’s life and teach them about respecting and taking care of them in their old age. Principal Ma’am also emphasized on the bonding of children and their family members. This special day was organized to strengthen an unique bond between children and grandparents.
The day was filled with fun; was appreciated by the grandparents lies who abundantly enjoyed with their little ones.
