HAR GHAR TIRANGA

Our Country is celebrating 75th year of Independence and government of India initiated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12 th march 2021,to make the people aware about the glorious history of its people. Various activities were performed under this amrit mahotsav and students were also participated actively in those activities.
For a country National flag is a symbol National pride for entire nation. To honor the the National flag Government had planned the “Har ghar Tiranga “ campaign under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. On this occasion in school and to popularize “Har ghar Tiranga “ initiative various activities were organized in the school. Special assembly were held and speeches were given by teachers.
Mrs Charu Dagar explained about the journey of National flag to the students. Mrs Deepanka Arora told stories about the martyrs stories related to Hoisting of National flag.
Patriotic poems were sung by Mayank and Radha during the assembly. Also students of School participated in community singing (Patriotic songs).
Various competitions were organized in various classes.
Primary student participated in coloring competition with the theme National flag and our Country. Students of 6th to 8th grade participated in best out the waste activities and they made beautiful tricolor badges . Students of 9th and 10th participated in slogan writing competitions.
Students of various classes also participated in the “Prabhat pheri”under the guidance of Mrs.Bani Bhakhry Dua and Mr.Amit Sharma. They make the people aware about the “Har ghar Tiranga “ initiative and motivated them to hoist flag in front of their houses between 13th and 15th Aug 2022.
Students of class 6th to 12 th were also participated in online quiz competition. They were also motivated by the teachers to upload their selfie with Tiranga on the “http// harghartiranga.com” portal .
On the final day I.e, 13th Aug 2022, cultural program was organised which was attended by the students, teachers, SMC members and parents of the students. Program was started with the patriotic community singing Along with patriotic poems were sung by students. NCC cadets “Jawans” marched with the Chief Guest, Mrs. Kavitha Menon to the assembly point. She hoisted the National Flag. This was followed by the cultural Program which included Patriotic Songs, dance and Poems on our brave soldiers.
The anchors and participants not only showcased their talents in patriotic flavour but also raised social and environmental issues like pollution, girl child, plastic hazards etc and motivated the audience to be the change to make the world a better to live in.
Program culminated with prize distribution and address by the Principal which inspired the students to follow their passion along with their studies in their upcoming life.
National anthem was sung by everyone with great pride . Flags and refreshments were distributed to one and all.
