REPORT ON EARTHQUAKE MOCK DRILL

The earthquake mock drill was conducted in the morning at 10.30 am on 25 Jul 22. It was done with the motive to ensure the safety and check the preparedness of the children. The teacher gave an awareness talk and demonstrated all the vital steps involved in the mock drill and explained the standard operating procedures by mainly stressing on the ‘Drop, Cover and Hold Strategy Stating the reasons behind it like saving our lives. The students were trained to be alert, quick and responsible and avoid panic to avert stampede and causalities. Our Principal commented on the mock drill by emphasizing on the evacuation procedures. Observation made by the Principal created a room for future improvement.
