DISCIPLINARY MEASURES

The following disciplinary measures will be adopted by the school.

  1. Oral warning & counseling
  2. Written Warning : The child will be issued three warning letters for his/her mistakes, after which he/she will not be allowed to continue in the school.
  3. Monetary fine for deliberate damages to school property.
  4. Withdrawal of bus facilities for misbehavior in the school bus (parents will be responsible for picking them up and dropping them to the school).
  5. Expulsion : The student will be warned and counseled for the first time, and will be suspended if unacceptable behavior persists. However, the Principal retains the right to suspend or expel a student outright if the offence is of a very serious nature. The Principal will have the right to withhold the character certificate of any student whose conduct is not in keeping with the rules laid down by the school.
  6. Leave of Absence
    • Students who have been sick for more than 3 days will bring a medical certificate from their doctor on re-joining school.
    • All students will attend school on the opening day after each of the vacations. Those absent on account of any illness must present a medical certificate before they are admitted to the class.

    It is compulsory for all students to maintains 75% attendance during the course of the academic session, to enable them to appear for the final examination. The percentage, however could be relaxed on medical grounds.
