REPORT ON WORKSHOP MENSTRUAL HEALTH AND HYGIENE

A workshop on “Menstrual Health and Hygiene” was orgnaised for Secondary and Senior Secondary level of students for two days 29 Jul 19 to 30 Jul 19 in School Auditorium.
Resource person Ms. Namita from NGO – SACHHI SAHELI was our guest. Workshop was held for two days on first day classes XI & XII attended the workshop i.e. on 29 Jul 19. On second day students of classes IX & X attended the workshop i.e. on 30 Jul 19.
The main objective of the workshop was to sensitise the students about the following :-
(i) To understand the woes of Adolescence or teenagers.
(ii) To know the process of growth of different stages of Adolescence and its related issues.
(iii) To educate both boys and girls as how to maintain good health and hygiene to avoid infection and diseases.
Ms. Namita spoke to students about Adolescence and Menstrual Health and Hygiene. She had a good interaction with students and students also responded well.
“Pouches” and some “Booklets” were also distributed to students.
