WORLD RED CROSS DAY CELEBRATION

World Red Cross Day was celebrated this year on 08 May 19 in Air Force Sr Sec School, Lok Kalyan Marg. This day was observed very beautifully by the students of our school.
At first two students from class X and XII delivered a beautiful and informative speech on Red Cross Day including the historical background of Red Cross Day along with its vision and motto.
The students of class IX sang a melodious Red Cross theme song, “Come Let us Pledge Again”.
A brief introduction on first aid was given by a class X student as it is another motto of Red Cross.
The students of primary section told the assembled students about the emergency number 112, some more informative facts on first aid and also recited a poem “Magic Band-Aid” respectively.
The programme was concluded with some valuable advice given by our Principal Mrs Kavitha Menon to the students.
