FIRE SAFETY

‘Fire Safety Week’ was celebrated from 14 Apr 17 to 21 Apr 17’. Fire Safety Demonstration was given to the staff & students during the morning assembly on 28 Apr 17 by Cpl Shashi from fire section of AFND. He talked about the different kinds of fire and the causes of their occurrences. Various types of fire extinguishers used for extinguishing different kinds of fire was demonstrated.
Students were told to be very careful while handling electric appliances. Tips were given for the use of gas cylinders.
It was a great learning experience for everyone that helped them to understand the causes of fire ways to combat it.
A Poster competition was also held for classes I to XII on fire safety. The winners were Pushkar Bansal, Mohit Kumar and Shivansh. They were felicitated by the Air Cmde Pawan Mohey VSM, Air Officer Commanding AF Station, New Delhi in a special ceremony organized by fire services AFND in New Willigdon Camp.
