INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day was celebrated on 14th August 2018 in school Assembly ground. Even though it rained heavily on that day, the students were very enthusiastic to attend the function. The function was organised by Chetak house. The house in-charge Dr Ekram Dwivedi gave a very inspiring speech. 4 rounds of quiz competition were held on the topic freedom struggle. Variety of cultural items, from folk dance to classical dance, poem recitation, patriotic song singing were performed by the students. In the end, students enacted a play on the freedom fighter, Udham singh which was appreciated by one and all. Principal Mrs kavita menon, addressed the students and also announced the results of quiz competition. The function culminated with the National Anthem.
