Nike KD 7 Walk to Be Sponsored
SAN DIEGO, Dec. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI), a provider of postsecondary education services focused on providing higher access to higher education, has offered its support to the Finish Chelsea’s Run 5K race and fun run fundraiser. Bridgepoint will provide $40,000 to Chelsea’s Light Foundation and the Sunflower Scholarship Fund, both beneficiaries of the 5K run/walk being held in Chelsea King’s honor.

The Sunflower Scholarship Fund is a wonderful way to do so.”
Sadly, Chelsea King lost her young life in 2010 while running at Lake Hodges. Finish Chelsea’s Run will take place on March 5, 2011, in Balboa Park, where King practiced with KOBE 9 the San Diego Youth Symphony. The 5K will offer participants a competitive run or an alternative fitness run/walk.
About Finish Chelsea’s Run
The Inaugural 2011 Finish Chelsea’s Run will be a 5K competitive road race and fun run/walk to raise funds for scholarships. It will be held in Balboa Park where Chelsea loved to visit and where she practiced with the San Diego Youth Symphony. Finish Chelsea’s Run will Jordan 2 Retro be emceed Air Jordan 2 Retro by “Little Tommy” Sablan and there will be pre and post race family events in the race area in Balboa Park. All ages are welcome, and families are encouraged to participate together. Two kinds of scholarships will be offered: “Academic” Air Jordan 12s (based on academic merit) and “Joie de Vivre” (supporting and nurturing a child’s extracurricular interests thus providing them with the balance to enjoy a well rounded and joyful life).
