In the spirit of Halloween, ghosts and goblins, sugar skulls, Day of the Dead (which is celebrated on November 1 2) and whatnot, I bring you a cool project for both the artistically and non artistically inclined. All it takes Air Jordan 1s is some Craft Smart paint whatever acrylic paint you have on hand, really package of inexpensive paint brushes and a couple of Sharpie markers and your unlimited imagination.

Of course, you don have to paint on a pair of TOMS shoes like I did in this picture, but why not? For every shoe you buy, another person who is in need gets a pair for free. It sounds like a win win situation to me. But if Toms aren in your budget, any all canvas shoe would do perfectly fine. Whether it be a $10 shoe from Target or a pair of $50 Converse, this is a really accessible project.

I painted lots of really cute Jordan Retro 2 and cool designs on children shoes over the years, so this would be a great project to give your kid shoes some extra style and oomph. Not to mention originality, when it seems everyone and their mama is shopping at the same places you do.

Just make sure your white shoes are free of dust and debris. Find a simple design that you like online, perhaps here or here. Then go ahead and do a light pencil sketch. Don worry about it not looking perfect, a primitive look actually adds to the appeal of this design. Once your sketch is done, you can begin Jordan 2 Retro painting using any of the 74 colors that Craft Smart offers. I usually paint at least two coats, to give Nike LeBron 11 the colors a rich, bright look. Once your design is completely painted and dried, outline it using a black Sharpie paint marker. This will make your design really pop.

Now you and your kids can rock a pair of original shoes during Jordan Pro Strong this lovely season of the year.

I found my way to your blog and then to henry;s story last night. me and me husband sat and cried while we watched it. a good friend of ours died 2 years ago in a drinking accident and it was so striking how much henry looked like him when he was in the hospital in the neck brace all hooked up. i wished so hard he would wake up those 3 days when all of his friends kept constant vigil outside the icu sneaking in as many at a time as we good to tell him we love him. im glad now he didnt wake up.
