Air Jordan 8 Retro Tied at five after three innings

Thirteen was Air Jordan 8 Retro the lucky number for the Lugnuts on Sunday.

Brian Pettway’s 13th home run of the season in the bottom of the 13th inning, sent the Lugnuts to a 12 11 victory over the West Michigan Whitecaps at Oldsmobile Park. today before squaring off in the first round of the best of three playoffs on Wednesday.

Tied at five after three innings, the Lugnuts bats broke free against West Michigan middle reliever Phil Napolitan. Doubles from Travis Snider and Matthew Lane and a two run home run by Kevin Nelson, his second of the season, helped the Lugnuts to a four run lead in the fourth inning.

Lugnuts starter Nathan Starner scattered seven hits and three strikeouts over five innings before being replaced by Edward Rodriguez, who gave up six hits and the lead, as the Whitecaps scored one run in the sixth and three in the eighth to tie the game Jordan Retro 8 at nine.

Lansing’s offense was unable to retaliate, going scoreless for six innings and sending the game into extra innings.

After a scoreless 10th, the Whitecaps strung Air Jordan 16s together two singles and a double for two runs in the top of the 11th inning.

The Lugnuts answered when Lane reached on a single and Nelson hit his second home run of the game to tie the game at 11.

Nelson finished the day 3 6 Air Jordan 18s with six RBI, while Lane was 3 4 with a Air Jordan 13s double and two RBI.

Lugnuts relief pitcher Ron Lowe (3 1) kept the Whitecaps bats at bay, giving up only one hit through two scoreless innings before Pettway’s blast, off West Michigan’s Zachary Piccola, clinched the victory.
