Air Jordan 17s we wear our water shoes or go barefoot though

thinking ahead to the summer: do you allow your dck’s to go barefoot outside? MY kids hate wearing shoes outside, so if dcp’s are ok with it , we dont wear shoes unless we go for a walk. most of our outside time is spent playing in water anyway and in the grass. sunscreen: i have each parent send a bottle and then i use one bottle for everyone until it’s gone, then move onto the next bottle. what do you do? do you only use the bottle that is sent for that child, or use it all for everyone? i was also thinking of asking the parents to apply sunscreen in the morning before they arrive to avoid having to put it on 8 kids twice a day. it gets really old really fast. but then i figured some of them would forget and i would end up putting it on them anyway or not be able to tell who had it on for sure. so Air Jordan 17s i guess to make sure everyone is covered properly this is probably a bad idea??? any thoughts?

I agree with the last poster. My back yard is shaded so I only put on sunscreen when we go for a walk or if the school agers are going to be outside more then 30 minutes. In the past two years I haven’t even gone through one big bottle of sunscreen. There is no point in having the parents each bring one bottle per family. I buy one bottle for daycare and write it off as a 100% daycare coast. I have a parent that drops off at 6am if I had that parent apply sunscreen before she dropped off for the day I would have to reaply it before we even made it outside. I just don’t see the point. I do however know a lot of providers this.

Shoes I require all children walking age Air Jordan 2s to wear shoes outside. If they don’t wear their shoes, they sit until they get their shoes on. They learn pretty fast to keep their shoes on. Obviously, for water play days, we wear our water shoes or go barefoot though.

Sunscreen For children who walk well, I require each parent to bring spray sunscreen and a stick sunscreen for their face. No creams b/c it takes too long to apply. I apply the faces stick to each child before going outside and then spray everyone once we get outside. It’s fast and easy! For younger ones, I have the parents bring the cream b/c it’s too hard to apply the spray to them when they can’t stand well.

Shoes always worn when outside unless we’re running in the sprinkeler or playing in the wading pool. I let my own kids run around barefoot but I’m not risking any liability with the DCK’s.

Sunscreen In the past I have asked parents to provide it and it’s a royal PITA. They bring crap sunscreen or it’s outdated, then I have to sort through 4 5 bottles to find one for each Jordan Winterized 6 Rings child. It’s just not worth it. So this summer I’m going to be providing it myself. Besides we don’t use it much. My backyard is shaded and I don’t have the kids out there mid day anyway. We’re usually outside from about 9 10:30 and again from 4 5.

We have to exit by house using the deck, than into driveway, than to backyard so always shoes. I request each parent to send in a pair of easy slide on shoes (water shoes/slip on sneakers/sandals). Once the kiddos hit the grass shoes come off if they choose of course for water play. do not allow shoe laces or flip flops since we do a lot of playing in the driveway on the ride ons. for sunscreen, I send a note home to all parents informing them that I offer Waterbabies sunscreen. they want to use something else they must send it in with child’s name. parents must sign release form for me to apply sunscreen. apply sunscreen right after breakfast. They wash up, than the sunscreen goes on. after nap, Air Jordan 1s wash up, and another application of sunscreen. It is a PITA, but it just becomes part of the routine and it goes a little smoother.
