As I live in Lancaster County this trail is my primary training trail. I have seen everything from chipmunks and whitetail to black bear and timber rattlers (that day was an incredible day). If you go out in the summer be careful as there is a section of 1 to 2 miles that is very open to the sun and protection is recommended. There is a great stretch from PA 322 to PA 72 (14 miles out and back). Also the trail from 322 to 501 is about 5 miles out and back but Jordan 2 Retro crosses the very senic Eagle Rock vista going in both directions. There is no parking at 501 so you most go from 322. The longer out and back from 322 to Seglock Creek is about 12 miles but well worth the effort. The hills are easy and the wildlife opportunities are fantastic. The trail crosses through Middle Creek Wildlife Area from about 0.9 miles east of Seglock Creek to Klinfeltersville Rd. (about 3 miles one way).
