Air Jordan CDP we’ve made new friends and contactsIn just seven days

But, in this case, you’re not heroes ‘just for one day’ as in the song. And, for me, these awards aren’t only about tonight either.The Construction News Awards are about finding ways, throughout the year, to celebrate and highlight the very best of this Air Jordan CDP exciting, dynamic industry.You can’t beat face to face communicationThat’s why we set so much store by our face to face judging process. This year we had 57 judges, including some of the best known clients in the industry, and all experts in their respective fields.Impressing them enough to make the shortlist is a Air Jordan 3s huge achievement. Proving to our judges in person Air Jordan 6 Rings that you should be a winner really marks you out as the best of the best.It also goes Air Jordan Fusion 4 back to what I opened with: construction is all about people. There is no better way to communicate your passion and your achievements than face to face.I believe we must all take responsibility, especially when it comes to the image of this industry, for how we want to portray it to others,for what we want to convey about it to outsiders, especially particularly the next generation.That’s why Construction News is proud to be an official partner of this year’s Open Doors initiative, run by the UK Contractors Group and CITB.On Open Doors Weekend, at the end of September, sites across the country will give the public a unique look behind the hoardings. There’s a particular emphasis this year on attracting school kids to visit with video and design competitions ahead of the weekend itself to get them fired up.Like last year, the whole Construction News team will be out at sites across the country showing our support.loveconstructionThinking about the KOBE 9 future of the industry and the image we want to convey, is also why I threw down a challenge to the industry in my editorial last week.We’ve just had the publication of a new industrial strategy for construction that paints a picture of the industry we’d all like to see in 2025. The young people who will be entering construction in 2025 might be as young as four now. What do we want them to think construction is about? For those a little older, considering what they’ll do when they leave school in a couple of years’ time, what do we want them to understand this industry can offer?So I said: You work in construction. You love this industry. Tell people why!I’ve had an amazing response. Well over 300 tweets and responses on LinkedIn and widespread adoption of the loveconstruction hashtag. We’ve had pictures, we’ve had conversations, we’ve made new friends and contacts.In just seven days, the idea that we can make a difference, that we can affect how others see the industry has really taken hold.This is just a start but we all know what can grow from small tiny acorns.I’ve already had conversations and meetings with a number of people who want to work together to develop the loveconstruction campaign. The opportunities are huge and exciting.
