The Ozen girls basketball team won’t have Air Jordan Future to run wind sprints when it gets back to practice next week.

Well, maybe just not as many.

After seeing its lead sliced to 37 33 on a layup by Orangefield senior post late in the third quarter, Ozen finished the period on a 7 0 run and then scored the first eight points of the fourth quarter to build a commanding 52 33 cushion.

“We may still run, you never know,” Ozen coach said with a laugh. “Beyond the threat of running sprints until Air Jordan 4s you die if you don’t get it back together, that’s good leadership on the floor. Not just senior leadership, but just good leadership on the floor Nike KD 7 (all around) to really want it.

“At that point, you can lay down, but you have to really want it to push it out. I’m glad they made that push at the end.”

Ozen never trailed in the contest and jumped out to an early 10 0 lead. The Lady Panthers did not allow a Bobcat field goal until the 5:34 mark of the second quarter and took a 29 20 lead into the locker room.

“That has been our style of play to start off this year, and that’s one thing we worked toward,” Walker Brown said. “There are going to be times where there are moments where they’re not thinking, so (it helps) if you’ve got a little buffer there to make it through those phases.”

Orangefield closed the gap in the third quarter thanks to the 3 point shooting of sophomore guard , senior guard and junior guard . A shot from behind the arc by Wyatt sparked the 10 2 spurt that brought Orangefield within four points before Ozen’s final run.
