Dawan, 29, was a fifth round pick in 2006 by Baltimore; LaRon, 28, was the sixth overall selection by Washington a year later.

LaRon has a pet monkey; Dawan doesn’t.

Dawan is in the second year of a big money free agent contract; LaRon is on a one season deal.

LaRon was fined a game check in his seventh career game for an illegal hit; Dawan wasn’t docked until this year, his seventh in the NFL.

"That’s been the way since we were kids," Dawan said. "It shows on and off the field. I’m more mellow, and he’s energetic and high energy. A lot of people say I take after my mom, and he takes after my dad."

Dawan said their parents, older brother, uncle and "other stragglers," will attend the game. The only other time their teams faced off in the regular season, Dawan didn’t play because of injury when Baltimore defeated LaRon’s Redskins team four years ago.
