First, Bryan is set to perform at the Anthony Walker Festival at the University of Liverpool’s Guild of Students in Brownlow Hill, on July 7, 2012. The event is in tribute to the life of Anthony Walker, a Merseyside teenager who was murdered in a racially motivated attack in July 2005.

Meanwhile, Collins and 2 Shoes are part of the lineup of Liverpool Pride on August 4, 2012. The free event takes place in celebration of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender pride. Locations for the event include the Pier Head and throughout the Stanley Street Gay Quarter. contestant Jay Norton and Toxteth singer Esco: "I’m so pleased to have been asked. It’s a real honor to play alongside such a strong line up, and I support the excellent work that the Anthony Walker Foundation do. I grew up just down the road only 30 minutes down the M62 so it’s something close to my heart. When they asked me, I jumped at the chance. It’s going to be an amazing festival."

Collins (who happens to be openly gay) talked to the Liverpool Echo about performing at Liverpool Pride, which will also feature Liz McClarnon and "The Only Way Is Essex" star Jessica White: "I’m so excited to be involved with Liverpool Pride, it’s an honor. It’s such an amazing event and I think the gay community in Liverpool are really impressed by it and grateful there is an event like this where we can celebrate. Whenever I see the rainbow street signs in the Gay Quarter I see how things are really pushing forward.
