Hello, my name is Steffen Root, co owner of Berkshire Bike and Board here in Air Jordan 13 Great Barrington, Massachusetts and we’re going to be talking about how to build a BMX start gate. One of the reasons why you’d Air Jordan 13 Retro want to build a BMX start gate is that BMX races are almost completely won at the start. So being able to practice that start in a home setting can definitely be Air Jordan Women Size valuable so being able to build a BMX start gate at home will let you practice whenever you want and not Air Jordan 10s have to go to a track to practice. Some of the materials that you would build a BMX start gate out of are metal or wood, basically whatever you can come up with, a metal start gate will definitely hold up better and will actually mimic what a real BMX start gate looks like. A BMX start gate is basically mimicking a regular BMX start gate so instead of having the width for eight across this is just going to be for one single bike so it’s only going to be a maximum of two feet wide and mimicking the length so it’s just a little bit longer than a BMX bike with that slight grade, the downhill grade with the front gate portion coming up to stop the bicycle from rolling off the front and the way we want to have it manufactured is that you can flip a lever but your Air Jordan 4s weight against the front gate is actually keeping the gate in place. The minute you pull back mimicking a gate start, the gate will drop and therefore you can sprint off. That is basically how to build a BMX start gate.
