On a sunny day be sure to scan Pfisters Pond for the northern ring necked snake and the northern brown snake basking in the sun. Waterproof, sturdy shoes are recommended to protect feet against rocky and swampy areas. Food isn’t allowed on the trail, but there is a picnic table adjacent to the parking area.
