Nike LeBron 12 and I don see any numbers as to what that development

But Harris County’s go it alone approach to eFiling could end up costing the rest of the state, the state’s director of court administration wrote in a Nike LeBron 12 blog post this week.

Harris County accounts for about 40 percent of all eFilings on the state system, Carl Reynolds told me in a phone interview. That presumably generates a good chunk of revenue that the contractor receives for running the state system. If Harris County bolts, Reynolds suggested, then perhaps the fees go up for everyone else still using the state system.

“Jackson is impatient, insisting that Harris County judges and litigants demand and deserve their own free portal ahead of everyone else, and in fact to the detriment of everyone else,” Reynolds wrote. “Starts to Air Jordan 12s look like everyone in the state versus the good citizens of Houston. Let’s work together on getting where everyone agrees we need to go.”

In a statement released through Air Jordan 9s a spokesman, Jackson said:

Harris County’s objective is not to replace the current state e filing system. Harris County’s goal is to create another option that will lead to more litigants e filing. Under the current model, the taxpayers and litigants are the losers, and we want to see a system put in place were everyone wins.

About 80 percent of the filings in Harris County are no fee filings. People shouldn’t have to pay an electronic filing fee for otherwise free transactions, spokesman Jackson spokesman Michael Lykes said.

The county’s own eFiling system is still at least a year away. The state Supreme Court has to approve Jackson’s plan. Then he would have to build the system.

I tell you Nike Air Foamposite One what, I am an attorney and I did not vote for Loren Jackson in 2008. (I liked his predecessor. I do not know Mr. Jackson, nor anyone involved with his campaign.)

But, this guy is knocking it out of the park.

He has updated the Harris County Courts computer/on line, date retrieval system so fast I can believe it. Harris County ain just up to date now as being user friendly it is ahead of the curve.

The hell with lawyers, the system is now so easy to use for as compared to two years ago, it is just amazing.

The BIG point that is being totally missed here is what is it going to cost to develop, run and maintain this new Harris County eFiling system??? The development costs of this system have to be born by the taxpayers in Harris County, and I don see any numbers as to what that development, startup and annual maintenance cost is. This is a typical political move by a clerk that is up for reelection. They do not tell you the whole story, just what they want you to know to get themselves reelected! So it more than just what impact this Harris County system will have on the rest of the state, it what it will cost Harris County Air Jordan 7s to develop and maintain this system and trust me it not FREE to the Taxpayers! to me paying a small amount to eFile under the current program makes sense versus paying courier, parking and other expenses to file the old fashioned way. Be weary of Politicians making promises in an election year!
