Air Jordan 5s surrounded by his family

While a 21 year old woman has been freed on bail, the man she is accused of injuring during a bizarre hit and run accident remains in critical condition in a Sacramento burn center, surrounded by his family.

Heriberto “Eddie” Range Guillen, 33, was splashed in the face and upper body Wednesday morning with 400 degree thermoplastic, that sealed over his face and caused third degree burns. Range Guillen and another man had been re striping a crosswalk in the area of Double R Boulevard and Prototype Drive when Reno police said Brittania Sharrie Anderson Vankrey crashed through construction zones and struck the re striping vehicle.

Following an intense search in the area by traffic officers hunting for the Toyota Scion that fled the scene, Anderson Vankrey was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run causing substantial bodily harm and driving on a suspended license. She could not be reached for comment.

Range Guillen’s employer, Tamara Dethmers of Nevada Barricade, said an account has been established that is accepting donations for his medical care. She said he has a large family that Air Jordan 5s lives in the area, and relatives are with him at UC Davis Burn Center, where he is being treated for his injuries.

Dethmers said she had spoken to Air Jordan 15s his wife, Miriam, Thursday morning, who asked her to thank the community from the bottom of her heart for all their support, thoughts and prayers. She said the woman said she was overwhelmed by the outpouring, and added her husband seems to be improving.

“We are deeply grieved by the accident and we stand behind him in our thoughts and prayers,” Dethmers said. “He’s a wonderful man.”

She said her company is grateful for the Air Jordan 10 Retro roughly 100 calls they received Wednesday from concerned industry associates, who wanted to support Range Guillen.

Dethmers praised the support and assistance of the Reno Police Department and its Victim Services Unit.

Police said that when they questioned Anderson Vankrey about the accident, she said she knew she hit something, but Air Jordan DMP continued driving. Her bumper fell off at the scene. Detectives were still investigating whether drugs, alcohol or distracted driving played a role in the crash.
