I have helped her on quite a few occasions go through the closets for her kids, herself and her husband. I’m always surprised at how quickly she can get back to that overstuffed place! I’m glad to say, after the last time we organized, she has gotten much better with the word “no” and is doing much better at keeping her closets clean.

Pick a Day to Start and Have a PlanClosets can become a catch all for clutter. If your closets are a mess, chances are you have things that belong somewhere else in the house, or are broken, or that needs to be stored somewhere more appropriate.

Take a look at the closets in question and think about how you can make it a better space. Do you have enough room for closet organizers? Maybe you have enough room to add a shelf or two? Or possibly you will only have the use of a top shelf?

What will work for the space you have. Determine the items you need before your start and have them ready for the big day.

Have Your Supplies Ahead of Time

Here’s is a list of supplies you will need and other items that can be useful. If you have to purchase items such as containers, Nike Air Foamposite One garment bags, hooks, etc. only buy what you believe you will need.

You don’t want to end up having to find storage space for the organizers you bought but didn’t need and you don’t want to end up storing things you really don’t need or will never use just because you have extra storage containers.

Empty Out the ClosetThis will most likely be the easiest thing to do when cleaning Air Jordan 2010 out a closet. As you’re taking things out have a garbage bag handy to toss the junk and broken or damaged items into.

This is where it starts getting a little harder to make decisions. Have you heard of the two year rule? Anything that hasn’t been used in the past two years goes to charity, given to a friend, or goes in the trash (if it’s not worth giving away).
