Pull Air Jordan 9s the rear brake shoe from the brake drum. Detach the parking brake lever from the rear brake shoe with needle nose pliers. Remove the parking brake and adjuster lever from the rear brake shoe. Pry the C washer holding the lever to the brake shoe using a slotted Air Jordan 4s screwdriver to remove it from the retaining pin on the shoe. Do not lose the shim located underneath the Jordan 8 Retro c washer. Attach the adjusting and parking brake lever to the new rear brake shoe, securing it to the shoe by installing the shim and sliding the c washer under the retaining pin with a slotted screwdriver. Pivot the rear part of the adjuster lever toward the bottom of the rear brake shoe to engage it with the shoe lever, then rotate the adjuster lever back against the rear shoe. Hook the short end of the adjuster spring into the small hole on the side of the adjuster lever on the rear brake shoe. Hook the other end of the adjuster spring into the hole on the rear shoe, located in the center of the shoe with needle nose pliers.

Position the front brake shoe near the backing plate of the brake drum. Attach the other end of the anchor spring to the hole near the bottom of the front brake shoe. Attach the spring end of the adjuster assembly/return spring to the hole near the top of the front brake shoe. Insert the hold down pin into the hole on the near the center of the left side of the backing plate. Install the inner cup over the pin, hold down spring, and outer cup with a socket wrench. Compress the hold Air Jordan 7s down spring and turn the outer cup clockwise a quarter turn to lock Air Jordan 2s down the hold down spring.
