Okay, if you were going to get your little girl ONE pair of dressy shoes, would white ballerina flats work? And then some kind of grippy sandals for spring/summer play? I love little boy shoes so easy! Sneakers or dress shoes! Wear them out, then buy the next size up! Little girl shoes seem so much harder to me. I let air jordan 4 DD wear dresses most of the time, unless we’re going to be going to be doing something pretty messy, so she needs something cute that she can play and climb in, but she also needs something fancy to wear for dressing up, and she also needs something she can wear in the playground and dirt (that sounds terrible, but we spend time playing in the woods), and I’m getting stuck on how many pairs of shoes one little girl needs.

If you have a preschool age DD, could you please describe the shoes she has?

I kinda go shoe crazy with all my kids. My dd has way too many pairs for a 4 year old, but one of her most versatile pairs has been her danskos. She had brown leather ones when she was 3 and when she grew out of those I got her pink patten leather ones. Seriously though, she can wear them with everything. They look cute with dresses, jeans, shorts, skirts, legging (also known as jordan 6 satans pants, lol). Anything really. The best part is they are impossible to wear out, mud and dirt wipe right off and they are just plain cute.

That is how I justify spending $70 on a pair of shoes for a 4 year old.

Okay, wow, I was also surprised that so many parents mentioned black. So black shoes go with what for tights? And what color dress? Also white shoes white tights, but does the dress also need to be white? Have white in it?

DD is wearing brown dressy Mary Janes this winter, and I love those because I feel they truly do go with everything (brown tights, pink tights, ivory tights, patterned tights), but she has a few spring dresses that would go better with something fancier one ruffled lavender and one white one. Would white shoes and white tights go with both of those? If she has one pair of fancy shoes for spring/summer, what color is most practical?

As far a summer sandal I love air jordan 3 Salt Water sandals. My go to shoe. Seriously the best shoe ever for summer. They get wet and mold perfectly to little feet. Dd has these ones. But gets a different color every year.
