The tag still means cheap for me

Many Western firms have to send quality teams to China to enforce Western quality standards. Even then it is not guaranteed Chinese suppliers are able to fulfill the quality requirements. "Made in China" is still a sign for cheap products.

Cheap doesn’t mean bad

China produces a lot of high quality goods, however, many Chinese do not recognize this and are obsessed with Western brands and have bought into the Western hype.

Of course, much of this hype is due to the vast amount of advertising spent by these companies. These Western companies would move their production facilities in a heartbeat if the quality of goods produced was inferior.

So why do you suppose a foreign company chooses China over Mexico? Quality, quality and quality. It is high time that the Chinese, especially the young, recognize this about their own country.
