Air Jordan Future Tennessee’s Arian Foster is 6 1

Rather than take a back they didn’t think would fit in their system, general manager Rick Smith waited until after the draft to sign two backs who were 1,000 yard runners but had injury problems.

Tennessee’s Arian Foster is 6 1, 226 and runs the 40 in 4.68. He was outstanding as a junior. He rushed for 1,193 yards and 12 touchdowns. He caught 39 passes. Then he suffered a major knee injury that required surgery after the season.

At one point, Air Jordan Future Foster was considered as a big time NFL prospect. He looks like the kind of back the Texans want to complement Steve Slaton. He can run between the tackles because he lacks speed. When he reports for work, he’ll be 100 percent and ready to go.

The other back is Oregon’s Jeremiah Johnson. He’s 5 9, 209 and runs a 4.62. He was injured but recovered last season to rush for 1,201 yards and 13 touchdowns. He averaged 7.1 yards per carry.

Anyway, those are the candidates who’ll compete for playing time with Ryan Moats and Chris Brown behind Slaton. I think they’ll sign another back or two before all is said and done.

In Alex Gibbs’ zone system, the linemen have to be smart because they have to make a lot of decisions. Caldwell is 6 3, 309 and graduated in less than three years. He also played guard and tackle. The Texans will put him behind Chris Myers and let him compete with Chris White. Caldwell was mentored by DeMeco Ryans in college. I Air Jordan 23s spoke with Ryans and he’s excited about having him on the Texans.

Anthony Hill, TE, North Carolina State

The Houston native who played at Clear Brook High School was one of the top blocking tight ends in the draft. The Texans wanted a big, physical blocker to handle the strong Nike KD 7 side OLB in a 3 4. It was a problem last season. Hill has Air Jordan CDP the ability to develop into an effective receiver, but blocking will be his specialty. He’ll also improve the special teams.

He’s got size (6 1, 206) and 4.63 speed. If he makes the team, he’ll provide depth and help special teams.

If there’s a common theme in this draft and the free agent signing we know of, it’s that the Texans got better on offense, defense and special teams. They filled some needs while adding talent and depth. They drafted players who can play multiple positions like Cushing, Barwin, Caldwell, Quin and Glover. They want to get more physical in the front seven, and they may have drafted the guys to help them do that.

Only time will tell, of Nike LeBron 12 course. Let’s get back together in three years and see how this one pans out. Meanwhile, I don’t know about you, but the regular season can’t come fast enough for me.
