Air Jordan 7s but has scribbled some words

John Byro joined the Marines after 9/11 and survived two tours in Iraq. But on Oct. 27, as the 29 year old headed from the Twin Cities to his home in Madelia, in southern Minnesota, he nearly died when his Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a vehicle that then left the scene.

The driver fled as Byro lay injured on Hwy. 5 just outside Gaylord, Byro’s father, David Byro, said on Sunday at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, where his son, a law enforcement major Air Jordan 7s at Metropolitan State University in Brooklyn Park, is in critical condition with broken bones and a brain injury.

“John had the right of way,” said Dave Byro, 55, a farmer from the Madelia area. “The other vehicle . had a stop sign.” Another motorist stopped to help after finding Byro about 10 that night.

Byro’s friends have offered a $3,000 reward for information leading to the identification and possible prosecution of the hit and run driver.

“It is so important that this person come forward,” David Byro sad. “I can’t believe anybody could live with themselves” without stopping to help or coming forward now, he said.

According to the State Patrol, the vehicle may have been a light colored passenger vehicle or SUV that will have damage to the rear.

The patrol’s report said Byro is not suspected of alcohol use but wasn’t wearing a helmet. David Byro, who also has a motorcycle, said he doesn’t Air Jordan Future wear a helmet either. “The accident happened not for Air Jordan 23s lack of a helmet,” he said.

She, along with two other brothers and their dad, take Air Jordan 6s turns making sure John doesn’t try to leave his bed, where a ventilator keeps him breathing. Their mother, who is divorced from David Byro and lives in another town, Air Jordan 9s also has visited, she said.

Byro said her brother is unable to talk, possibly because of the injury to the left side of his brain, which controls speech, but has scribbled some words, including “best sister.”
