PATTERN OF EXAMINATION
PERIODIC TESTS
There will be 2 periodic tests in the following months
-July
-November/ December
- July- 100% syllabus, i.e. from the date of commencement of session till the date of announcement of the test.
- November/December- Syllabus will include chapter from September to November and one chapter from the first term.
- The test will be for 30 marks but will be reduced to 10 for final calculation.
TERM EXAMS
- Will be held in the month of September & March.
- 100% of the syllabus covered will be given in the First Term exam (September)
- 100% of the syllabus covered in second term and important chapters of the First term will be given for the Final term exam (March)
- Syllabus shall be completed on time and enough revisions will be done in the class by the teachers.
MARKS DISTRIBUTION(80 MARKS)
TERM-I (APRIL-SEPTEMBER):-
PERIODIC TESTS 1 – 10
MID TERM EXAM – 80
NOTEBOOK SUBMISSION – 05
SUBJECT ACTIVITY – 05
TOTAL – 100
TERM – II (OCTOBER- MARCH)
PERIODIC TESTS 2 – 10
MID TERM EXAM – 80
NOTEBOOK SUBMISSION – 05
SUBJECT ACTIVITY – 05
TOTAL – 100
THE EXAM WILL BE FOR 80 MARKS(RETESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED)
In case a child is absent for a test/ exam then he/ she will be marked absent for that test/ exam.
