{"id":2649,"date":"2015-01-09T06:53:24","date_gmt":"2015-01-09T06:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/racecourseschools.in\/seniorschool\/?page_id=2649"},"modified":"2024-08-05T09:11:00","modified_gmt":"2024-08-05T09:11:00","slug":"celebration-of-the-national-mathematics-day","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/racecourseschools.in\/seniorschool\/archives\/previous-years-events\/session-2014-2015\/celebration-of-the-national-mathematics-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebration of the National Mathematics Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"textbg_nar1\">\n<h2>Report on National Mathematics Day Primary<\/h2>\n<div class=\"border_nar\"> <\/div>\n<p>National  Mathematics day was organized in middle classes of the school on 22 Dec 2014 to  the birthday of <strong>Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan<\/strong>,  the great mathematical genius who made exemplary contribution to Mathematics.<br \/>\nThe  Mathematics day was celebrated with objective of creating awareness about  importance of mathematics in day to day life situation and also to create  students interest in studying the Mathematics.<br \/>\nAs part of  the celebrations, quiz programme, drawing competition on geometrical designs  and talk on Mathematics were organized and conducted by <strong>Mr. Brajpal, Mrs. Kusum Gupta, Mrs. Mala, Mrs. Sonia Kapoor and Mr.  Mukesh.<\/strong><br \/>\n24 Students  from classes 6 to 8 divided into 4 teams participated in the quiz programme  which was conducted in five rounds. The programme was enjoyed by the  participants and other students.
