School, Race Course Celebrated Traffic Safety Week from 4th Feb 2013 to 8th Feb 2013 with an aim to engage all school children as ambassadors to promote road safety.<\/p>\n<p>The programme was anchored by Mrs. Deepanka Arora which included the power point presentations by W.O. S. K. Dey on Road Safety Education &#038; Sgt K. N. Bhaskar on \u2018Road Safety Motivation\u2019. The students of 10th &#038; 11th B under the guidance &#038; Mrs. Deepanka Arora &#038; Mrs. Taru Goyal presented a street play \u2018Savdhani Hati Durghatna Ghati\u2019. The play was appreciated by one &#038; all as it raised various slogans on Road safety like \u2013 \u2018Wear Helmet protect yourself\u2019. \u2018Always use footpath\u2019, \u201cFollow traffic rules, avoid accidents,\u201d \u201cAccident bring tears, safety bring cheers\u201d. The programme was concluded by an interactive lecture by ASI Jagbir Singh from Delhi Police.
