Earth Day is a great time to help children reconnect with nature. The theme for 2019 was \u201cprotect our Species\u201d. Millions of people are still unknowingly degrading the environment and making it polluted over the years. Deforestation and loss of habitat of wild animals is the main cause of their extinction. It is the time that we should start thinking about the measures that we, human beings can take to protect our environment and save all the species of the nature. The students of Air Force Sr Sec School celebrated Earth Day on 22 Apr 19 with much enthusiasm. The aim was to sensitize and educate children about the flight of ailing planet. If all the species are going to extinct at this rate, the day is not for when human race will also get extinct from the earth. Various activities like colouring competition, nature card making, slogan writing, poster making, eco calendar making competitions etc. Young minds were engaged to think and act for the betterment of the society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
