CAREER GUIDANCE WORKSHOP FOR CLASS XII STUDENTS (HOME SCIENCE GROUP)<\/h2>\n

A workshop for the students of class XII \u2013 Home Science Group was conduted on the 08 Apr 19. Mr. Jayant Sharma Assistant Professor at Vedatya Institute (Educators for the service Industry), who holds a record in the Limca Book of Records for the longest Cocktail Domino, along with Sumeen Khanna, in-charge of admissions at vedatya (also a pass out our school) were invited to guide the students. The workshop aimed at being an interactive session with the students, which addressed their queries related to career prospects in the field of Hospitality.
\nIn the course of the interaction, the following points were covered:
\nA. What career means and the need to discover what one\u2019s passion. This discussion showed the students how passion keeps one motivated to continue in a certain field and ensures success eventually.
\nB. The discussion then moved on to what the Hospitality Industry means and what it comprised off;
\nC. Opportunities available, the skill-sets required the struggles and successes, and job security was discussed. The speaker enriched the discussion with many of his personal anecdotes to make the session interesting and interactive.
\nD. The session ended with the speaker guiding the students on working towards the career choice they would like to make and the necessary steps to be taken towards the same. The session was then open to further queries and discussions.
\nThe students benefited immensely from this interaction and it seemed that they were provided with a direction for their aspirations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
