PHYSICS LAB<\/h3>\n

Physics lab, as per latest trend and technology, is a well equipped lab for secondary and senior secondary classes.\u00a0 The lab is very spacious and well lit and fitted with exhausts. The lab has permanent working tables with granite\u00a0 tops and larges storage spaces beneath each table. There are plug points at each table and also on the walls. The\u00a0 tiled walls and floors give the lab a very neat and elegant look. It is well equipped with all the latest and syllabus \u2013\u00a0 prescribed equipment and apparatus which act as teaching aids and makes physics, activity based rather\u00a0 conceptual based. It is equipped with digital multi meters, semiconductor related apparatus and stainless \u2013\u00a0 steel optical benches. Physics lab always takes the initiative for all activity based learning.<\/p>\n

CHEMISTRY LAB<\/h3>\n

The newly constructed chemistry lab is designed as per latest trend and technology. Chemistry Lab is quite spacious ventilated and well equipped with all the required apparatus and chemicals. Lab plays an important role in making science activity and fun based learning rather than conceptual based. At a time 30-32 students\u00a0 can work in the lab. A Lab Attendant is always there for maintenance of the Lab<\/p>\n

BIOLOGY LAB<\/h3>\n

The A.F.S.S.S. has well equipped well illuminated, huge BIOLOGY LAB according to C.B.S.E norms where as many as 35 to 40 students can perform a wide range of experiments simultaneously. The Lab is fully equipped to teach students from classes VI to XII through preserved specimen permanent slid, chemicals, microscopes, charts & other glass apparatus required for experiments & demonstrations. The lab envisages model on Human Torso, Human Skeleton & model on various human parts which creates interest among students for study of human body & the living World.

Computer Lab is a well formed lab with sufficient systems for secondary and senior secondary classes. The lab is very spacious and Air conditioned. The lab has systems with latest windows Operating system that makes students very convenient for practicing. The computer is well installed with all the latest and syllabus \u2013 prescribed software and packages, which makes Computer Science, programming based rather theory based. Computer lab always takes the initiative for all activity based learning.

GEOGRAPHY LAB<\/h3>\n

Geography Lab is a necessary part of school education where students make models of different land forms and other aspects of Nature with the help of Lay, Wood, Paper etc. The lab is well equipped with a series of maps, Globes, Variety of survey equipment like plane table, thermometers, Barometer, wet and dry bulb thermometers. CD related to different topics are also kept in the lab School also organize field trips for the students to study the natural occupancy of various facts and inform about physical changes with the help of Global positioning system and Geographic information system available on Net. Geography Lab specializes in the development of qualitative and quantitative research skills in the School. Methods and Technique in Geography Practical \u2013Cartography including computer cartography. Quantitative techniques and statistical techniques\u00a0Field survey method\u00a0Geography informatics compressing technique such as remote sensing, Geographic information system, Global positioning system, spatial information system. Graphic Aids \u2013 Graphic aids are powerful medium for teaching and learning. It includes Panto graph, Flash and strips and pictures.

HOME – SCIENCE LAB<\/h3>\n

HOME SCIENCE LAB is located in the front block of the school near administrative section. Home \u2013 Science Subject is offered to senior section of class XI & XII std. students in Arts Stream as one of elective subject but students of Science and Commerce Stream can also opt Home Science as an additional subject. Home Science Lab is equipped with basic facilities & equipment to conduct cooking practical\u2019s related to the curriculum. Basic equipment like gas chullah, mixer grinder, OTC oven, Refrigerator, necessary cooking utensils & crockery items etc. are the part of Home Science Lab stock. Students learn about basic cooking, needle work and interior decoration in this field.
