ANNUAL FUNCTION – 2015

Air Force Senior Secondary School Race Course, Celebrated its Annual Day ‘Jazba – The Passion for the Nation’ on 15 Jul 15 at the Air Force Auditorium, Subroto Park. The programme began with the rendition of the Air Force School Song followed by the first dance sequence ‘Ekta ka Svar’ putting across the message of Unity and love wishing that all human beings live in harmony amongst themselves and with nature .Next the students took everyone on a spiritual journey showing us the glimpse of the life of Ashoka -the great ,who after conquering many lands finds solace in the path of non violence and Buddhism.

Proceeding on the journey of patriotism the students show cased the contribution of women freedom fighter, the legendary ‘Jhansi ki Rani’.

The vision of Mahatma Gandhi is timeless, a guiding light for many in aspects of life, spirituality and religion. The students depicted the vision of Mahatma Gandhi in mesmerizing, alluring powerful movements. They depicted his vision of non-violence, truth, brotherhood and cleanliness, which is even more relevant today.

Next ,the students presented ‘Khel Jagat ke Sitare’, showing the fans of Indian Sportsperson dancing joyously & celebrating the victories of their favorite sportsperson like, Sachin Tendukar, Milkha Singh & Mary Kom.

Guest of Honour Mrs. Narmada Babu President AFWWA (L) gave away the prizes to the meritorious students.

The august gathering was addressed by the Chief Guest Air Cmde G Amar Babu VM Air Officer Commanding, AF Station, New Delhi.

Lastly, the audience witnessed a grand finale ‘Goonj’ that resonated the entire auditorium.

The entire programme was immensely appreciated by the parent and the guest. The Chief Guest congratulated the Principal, Teachers & the Students for all the hard work put together.
