Report on Bal Swachta Abhiyan

National Education Day is an annual observance in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister  of independent India, who served from 15 August 1947 until 2 February 1958. National Education Day of India is celebrated on 11 November every year. Our School also celebrated this day with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The day started with the introduction of the life of  Maulana  Abul Kalam Azad by Mrs Amrit Sidhu, followed by a talk on “Importance of Education” by Mrs Alka Varshneya. Students displayed Slogans on the subject during morning assembly.

Various activities were conducted in classes. Students participated whole heartedly. A poem on "Education" was recited in Class I, Importance and meaning of education was emphasized in class II and III. Paragraph writing was undertaken on “Why Educating girls is necessary” and on “Education is the right of every child” in classes IV and V respectively.

Students of class III, IV and V made cards and wrote slogans.
