ANNUAL FUNCTION 2019

Air Force Senior Secondary School celebrated its Annual Day “DHROHAR – MERA ABHIMAN MERI PHACHAN” on 30 Nov 19 in Dhawan Auditorium with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Gp Capt Manoj Mehra, Senior Accounts Officer, Air Force Station, New Delhi. The Principal, Mrs Kavitha Menon, presented the school report through a power point presentation which highlighted the achievements of the school.
The Guest of Honour Mrs Dr Rakhi Mehra gave away the Prizes to the academically meritorious students. The Chief Guest Gp Capt Manoj Mehra felicitated the best teachers for the session 2018-19.
An array of talents was exhibited by the students in the form of vibrant songs, skit and colourful dances. The highlight of the function was the dance (Kiltha Bachpan) presented by the tiny tots showcasing our traditional games like gilli danda, stapoo, poshampa, etc which was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all.
The audience were left mesmerized with the variety of dances incorporating the different games. The emcees brilliantly entwined the entire programme to reveal the theme “ Our Heritage – DHROHAR.“
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of students and staff alike. The programme culminated with Mrs Deepanka Arora proposing the vote of thanks. The programme by was appreciated one and all.
